Project Introduction
Context, scope and design response
The design begins with the site's coastal conditions, studying sunlight, sea wind, tides, sand movement, soil, planting and climate to shape a public realm that grows with the shoreline. Rather than treating the seawall as a hard boundary, the project turns it into a varied linear experience, linking overlooks, stepped edges, promenade seating, skate and sports areas, children's play and gathering spaces for residents of different ages.
