Project Introduction
Context, scope and design response
The landscape works with the college's layered courtyard organization, from the low garden wall and entry court to the sunken courtyard and cloister-like circulation. Planting, thresholds and paved courts create a calm academic environment that acknowledges Tsinghua's historic campus fabric while supporting residential, social and ceremonial college life.
