Landscape design for a five-star resort hotel set on a water-surrounded peninsula in Beijing Universal Resort, creating a quiet garden oasis beside the theme park through Yuanmingyuan-inspired cultural references, courtyard sequences and framed views.

Project Introduction
Context, scope and design response
The project supports a calm resort transition after the intensity of the theme park. Arrival planting, subtle landform, garden courts, moon-gate views, outdoor dining terraces and inner lawns are coordinated with the hotel axis and guest movement, using borrowed views, framed views and layered planting to merge contemporary resort life with a restrained Chinese garden atmosphere.
